Syed Abdullah Shah Qadri, known as Bulleh Shah, lived in Kasur and studied under Shah Inayat Qadri of Lahore. His kafis mock hollow ritual and empty learning, and celebrate love as the only path to truth. They remain some of the most widely sung poems of South Asia.
